AAARAD’s primary goals are to encourage member-to-member networking, foster greater professional collaboration with departmental Chairs, and create management education opportunities for administrators and business professionals specializing in the management of academic radiology.

Members of the AAARAD organization seek to improve radiological health care delivery, residency program administration, and sponsored research administration in Academic Radiology through:

• application of professional management practices and principles,
• organization of annual meetings for discussion of common management issues,
• development of an informal network for exchange of information, and
• regular interaction with the SCARD on matters of mutual interest.
