Ronald Zink, JD, MBA - At-Large Member (Mentoring)
Ronald Zink began his career in healthcare management in 1980. Over the years, he held a variety of roles but discovered his true calling in Radiology management a little over 20 years ago. Ron does not recall the exact year he first joined the board but has served for several years in various capacities. Currently, he serves as both the sponsor of the mentorship program and the Historian, a role well-suited to his deep knowledge of AAARAD’s history. As a lifelong learner, Ron frequently gains insights from fellow AAARAD members. He holds an MBA in finance, a JD, and an LLM in tax law—an area focused on structuring transactions and business operations.
At-Large Member Role and Responsibilities
The Board member, designated as At-Large, will work to develop relationships with members in order to best assist the goals of AAARAD organization. As a board member the At-Large Member is expected to make contributions toward the growth and development of the AAARAD organization and to help shape the future direction of the organization.
- Participate in development of periodic updates of relevant information for AAARAD members to be distributed via e-mail, posted on the website, or as the subject of a webinar
- Provide support to Board positions and/or participation in identified task forces to ensure forward progress of the AAARAD Mission.
- Participate in monthly Board conference calls
- Establish personal communication with key membership chairs of the annual task forces. Provide assistance as required.
- At request of the Board establish new communication with other radiology organizations or take on new projects deemed of importance to the Board and agreed upon during monthly Board conference calls.
